-   He was a member of the UK's National Youth Music Theatre

-   Won the role of Tom Riddle in _Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)_ (qv), despite being 23, and exceeding the 15-17 age group

-   Attended Westminster school in London on an academic scholarship

-   Graduated from Cambridge University with a first class degree in 2000. While at Cambridge, he read English at Clare College

-   Wrote the lyrics and book for a rock musical called 'The Fallen' which was performed at Bedford Modern School in 1998


-   Played Romeo in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" - Liverpool Playhouse (2002).

-   Played Raleigh in "Journey's End" by 'RC Sherriff' - Comedy Theatre, London (2004).

-   Played Christian in "Festen" based on _Festen (1998)_ (qv) - UK tour (2006).

-   Played Osvald in Ibsen's "Ghosts" - Gate Theatre, London (2007).
