A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. David began acting in 2001, when he was cast on the spot as a baseball player in Billy Crystal's 61. Several years later he was cast in 2 more feature films, and started getting recognition for his appearance's in several commercial's and a book trailer for "Edge of Apocalypse" written by New York Times best selling author Tim Lahaye. David is in talks for future projects and can be seen next in Touchback, Red Dawn, Vishwaroopam and Saturday.

-   Was considered and auditioned for the role of "Rodriguez" in Touchback but lost out to James Duval who David considers an extremely talented actor.

-   David spent 4 years as a youth treatment specialist working/mentoring abused and neglect teens before becoming a full-time actor. He says helping those less fortunate was a blessing and made him the positive person he is today.

-   Tried out with the Detroit Tigers professional baseball team 3 times before becoming an actor. He was a standout athlete in High School playing varsity baseball as an outfielder and football at quarterback. The farthest he ever threw a football was 65 yards.

-   His father's last name is Lopez, but has his moms maiden name "Diaz" David jokes that having 2 celebrity last names (Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez) is pretty cool.

-   Born into a sport's driven family. David went on to be a standout varsity baseball outfielder and quarterback in football. His true love and passion has always been acting. Since watching the hit TV series "Saved by the Bell" as a kid, he always wanted to be on TV and found the art of acting and film extremely fascinating.

-   Has 3 sisters, Natalie, Nicole and Gina.

-   Gained 15 lbs of muscle for the role of Ward in "The Hunting Trip" Months later, David was cast by the same director "Dustin Bacon" to play another beefed up bad Guy named Vic, in the short film "Saturday" which David plays more of focused character.

-   Was initially a background Extra for Vishwaroopam, but while on set he was picked for multiple scenes as an F.B.I agent aside the multi talented actor and director Kamal "Sir" Hassan. David consider's Kamal Sir a Brilliant actor/director and genuine person.

-   David's favorite actors are, Robert Downey Jr, Brian Presley, Jeremy Renner, Tom Cruise, Kurt Russell, Ben Stiller, Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman, Christian Bale, Vin Diesel, Mark Ruffalo, Henry Cavill and Dwayne The Rock" Johnson.
