Rae Foster grew up in McKinney, Texas. Just before graduating high school, she won a national acting scholarship and decided to attend The University of Oklahoma's School of Drama. It was here that she was first introduced to filmmaking, through student films. After graduating with honors, she immediately moved to Los Angeles to learn more. In December 2011, Rae played Babe in a Los Angeles revival of Beth Henley's "Crimes of the Heart" with the Aquila Morong Studio.
