Troi Zee's acting career began at age 3 with The Children's Theatre Company in New York City. Additional credits include Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Reading Rainbow, Nickelodeon and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. In 2010 Troi appeared in the role of "Ngana" in the national touring company of Lincoln Center's Tony Award winning production of South Pacific; and in 2012 she completed the role of "Maya" in the independent film 1982, directed by Tommy Oliver, alongside legendary actor Ruby Dee and contemporary actor and author Hill Harper. In the same year Troi embarked on the singer/songwriter aspect of her career, working on her first album of original music with noted R&B singer and producer Angela Johnson. Troi performed the first single before more than 4,000 fans at a charitable Easter celebration in New York City. She also guest modeled for, a fashion website for the children's market; and she closed out 2012 singing at charity events hosted by Tuesday's Children and the Make the Grade Foundation.
