Quotes

Richard Castle: [reading the journal of a private investigator from the '40s] The blue butterfly! It's a necklace. That's why Stan Banks was killed. Why am I narrating? Betsy Sinclair: [Opening lines, as Betsy Sinclair] Comes a rain storm, put your rubbers on your feet. Comes a snow storm, you can get a little heat. Come love, nothing can be done... Luella McManus: Stan's dead? Well that's just great, what am I supposed to do with all his crap? Kevin Ryan: We'll be taking... some of it off your hands as part of our investigation. Kevin Ryan: When was the last time you saw him? Luella McManus: Oh, this morning. Stan was all smiles: gave notice he was moving out 'cause his ship was comin' in. Kevin Ryan: What ship? Luella McManus: Oh, I dunno, the Titanic from the looks of things. Javier Esposito: [Handing McManus a business card] Well if you can remember anything else can you give me a call? Luella McManus: [Turns and leaves without taking the card] Don't hold your breath, hot shot. Kevin Ryan: [to Esposito] I think she likes you. Richard Castle: It happened... backstage, right upstairs. They were stealing a moment together, which was dangerous because she was Dempsey's girl. As they stared into each other's eyes, Kate's heart quickened... Kate Beckett: Did you just say "Kate?" Are you picturing the P.I. as you and me as the gangster's maul? Richard Castle: [Incensed] What? No, and I didn't say "Kate," I said "Fate." "Fate's heart quickened," I was being poetic. [Turns away from Beckett, looking worried] Betsy Sinclair: [as Betsy: Just kissed Castle, as Flynn, to cover for Vera with Dempsey's boys] You better wise-up, Vera, Dempsey will have you butchered if he finds out. I mean, he's a hell of a smooched and all, but dammit girl, is this yum-yum really worth it? Kate Beckett: He's the cream in my coffee. Betsy Sinclair: You two are a walking fairy tale, [Turns and leaves] good Lord. Kate Beckett: [as Vera, about the Blue Butterfly]... it's not a necklace, Joe, it's a diamond noose. And it's getting harder to breathe. Richard Castle: [as Flynn] Then we gotta turn that noose into a lifeline. Richard Castle: [Beckett is frustrated that Flynn's diary trails off] If you wanted a beginning, a middle, and an end, I have 27 novels you could choose from? Kate Beckett: [Closing lines, as Vera] Tell me you love me, Joe. Richard Castle: [as Flynn] Always. Kevin Ryan: The boss wants to see you boyo.
