Full Plot

Carmen, a beautiful Spanish woman with a tendency to lose her temper at the drop of a hat, is about to be married to Barnaby, a caring, wealthy, but slightly boring Englishman. While out with friends on her 'hen night' she encounters a stranger who suddenly sparks a passion that has been sleeping within her. As her wedding date approaches, she finds herself struggling to put this newcomer out of her mind, but his effect on her keeps growing stronger. What is it that he sees in her, and why does she feel like she's being pushed inevitably into his arms? Jean-Marc Rocher Plot not found

Kit Winter: Theo, for Christ's sake, life is not a movie. Theo: Yeah it is. Come on, whatever you say, whatever you do, movies always got there first. Even that line you just said comes from a movie, um - Kevin Spacey in the end of, uh, Swimming With Sharks. Kit Winter: What harm is there if you see me just once? Would you like to see me beg? Believe me, I'm no stranger to humiliation. [Gets on knees] Carmen Collazo: Get up. Kit Winter: A coffee. Carmen Collazo: No. Kit Winter: One glass of water. In a brightly lit public place. Carmen Collazo: Nope. Kit Winter: Ok, we don't even have to talk to each other. We don't even have to sit together. Carmen Collazo: Nope. Kit Winter: You sit on one side of the room and I sit on the other. Carmen Collazo: Nope. Kit Winter: And if everything goes really well, we'll just wave to each other every once in awhile. Carmen Collazo: I'm getting married. That's why I had the... chicken... thing. Kit Winter: Hen night. It's called a hen night. [first lines] Barnaby F. Caspian: Carmen, I don't want you to go back. Carmen Collazo: I'm not going back. Barnaby F. Caspian: Good. Carmen Collazo: I'm never going back. Barnaby F. Caspian: Marry me, Carmen. Carmen Collazo: What? Barnaby F. Caspian: [offers a ring of onion from the cutting board] Carmen Collazo: [giggles] What? No... Barnaby F. Caspian: [slides the vegetable onto her figure] Marry me. Carmen Collazo: Barnaby. We've known each other for... Barnaby F. Caspian: ...six months. Carmen Collazo: Five. Barnaby F. Caspian: ...and a half. Carmen Collazo: [laugh] Barnaby F. Caspian: So what. So what, Carmen, I've never been so sure of anything. I've never been so happy since I met you. Barnaby F. Caspian, Carmen Collazo: [kiss and hug] Barnaby F. Caspian: Just promise me you'll think about, please? Carmen Collazo: Mm hmm. Kit Winter: How many jobs have you been fired from? Carmen Collazo: Exactly? 35... in 6 months. Kit Winter: Whoa! Carmen Collazo: I have a temper. Kit Winter: Yeah, I noticed. [last lines] Kit Winter: It's easy. It's like breathing. It's like a heartbeat. Reporter 1: Have you been following the Tom and Theo trial? Reporter 2: Where's Barnaby? Reporter 3: Carmen, who made your dress? Bouncer: Get that camera out of here!
