- The film began development at Overture Films. Overture later put the movie into turnaround and Relativity Media picked it up. A few months after this happened, Relativity bought Overture.

- 'George Clooney' (qv) turned down a cameo as himself in a segment where he would be shown to be bad at picking up women.

- 'Colin Farrell (I)' (qv) was originally cast as The Leprechaun.

- 'Trey Parker (I)' (qv) and 'Matt Stone (I)' (qv) were initially set to direct a segment but later dropped out.

- Not screened in advance for critics.

- 'Anton Yelchin' (qv) was originally in a segment directed by 'Bob Odenkirk' (qv), playing a necrophiliac but was removed after highly negative responses from a test screening.

- Although credited, two segments directed by 'Bob Odenkirk' (qv) are not featured in the US release.
