Nanny McPhee: Leave it to me. Celia: Where are we? Cyril: We are in the land of poo. Duck poo, cow poo, goat poo. Nanny McPhee: I hear you've been naughty. Megsie: Nanny McPhee we need you! Nanny McPhee: These children need me. Nanny McPhee: I am Nanny McPhee. Small C, Big P. Mrs. Docherty: You seem to have forgotten the way she works. Trivia

- Originally, it appeared 'Emma Thompson (I)' (qv) would not be able to play Professor Trelawney again in _Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)_ (qv), due to her duties as writer and producer of _Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010)_ (qv). However, filming wrapped on this film prior to the end of shooting on Harry Potter, and shortly before the latter film wrapped, she was able to return to film her scenes, along with cast mates, 'Ralph Fiennes' (qv), 'Rhys Ifans' (qv), 'Maggie Smith (I)' (qv), and her own sister, 'Sophie Thompson (I)' (qv).

- The motorcycle to which the sidecar is attached is an 350cc Ariel W/NG used by British Commonwealth forces during WW2.

- A pig shaped barrage balloon can be seen flying above Battersea Power Station as Nanny McPhee and the boys ride into London. Rock group 'Pink Floyd' (qv) famously used an image of a balloon in the shape of a pig flying over Battersea Power Station on the cover of their 1977 album 'Animals'.

- 'Emma Thompson (I)' (qv) was writing the script, as early as March 2007.

- SPOILER: Mrs. Docherty is addressed by her husband as "Aggy", that is Agatha Brown, the Baby from the first _Nanny McPhee (2005)_ (qv)
