Full Plot

When the American Chicken Bunker, a military-themed fried-chicken chain, builds a restaurant on the site of an ancient Indian burial ground, local protesters aren't the only ones crying fowl! The previous tenants, fueled by a supernatural force, take "possession" of the food and those who eat it, and the survivors discover that they must band together before they themselves become the other white meat! Film lovers have been starved for sustenance. The relentless diet of predictability and pretense Hollywood has been serving up just doesn't cut it. Poultrygeist is hearty food for thought. In Poultrygeist, Troma takes on the the fast-food industry-skewering the soulless restaurateurs-in the world's first horror-comedy film to feature zombie chickens, American Indians and a bit of singing and dancing! It's Poultrygeist! Troma Entertainment When Arbie's girlfriend turns out to be a lesbian, he decides not to go to college but to work at the American Chicken Bunker where she always protests. One thing, the American Chicken Bunker was built on an Ancient Indian Burial Ground and on Toxic Waste. What will Arbie do when the mutated toxic spirits of the Indians enter the dead carcass of the Chickens? It's POULTRYGEIST! ATTACK OF THE CHICKEN ZOMBIES! Ben Dover A former member of the Ku Klux Klan, General Lee Roy, now owns and runs a fast food chain 'American Chicken Bunker'. His new store is located on a site that was the burial ground of Native Americans. He has leased this franchise to an African-American, Denny, and has hired a Jew-hating/chicken-loving employee, Carl Jr.; a Burkha-clad Muslim woman, Humus; a Mexican, Jose Paco Bell; a male named Arbie, who is now called 'Daisy' amongst others. He attends the official opening of the store amidst protests from the local community of atrocities carried out on chickens, and the Indian burial grounds' desecration. Watch what happens when Lee Roy decides to pacify the protesters with free chicken meat. rAjOo ( Plot not found

[from trailer] Protestor: General, what are these tiny little bumps all over my chicken? The General: [thinking fast] Uh... those are our new... Flavor Pods! [from trailer] Arbie: They are very slowly approaching the entrance! Micki: They'll break through faster than the five minutes it took me to turn Wendy into a full blown lesbian! Arbie: Damn it! Well we need action before they turn the glass into lesbians! Denny: Mothafucka! General Lee Roy: And for the record, having a diaper fetish is a completely normal, healthy, and harmless bedroom activity. Arbie: Carl Junior, it's me, Arbie. I know somewhere deep within the bowels of this creature you've become lives the soul of the beautiful racist, animal-fucking, inbred trailer-thrash I know and love. Paco Bell: America isn't ready to accept a gay Mexican chicken sandwich. Arbie: You just won the contest. Chicken Denny: What contest? Arbie: The wet t-shirt contest, motherfucker! [opens fire] Humus: The chicken... the chicken has declared jihad on us all. The General: Oh, it's just as my old grandpapa used to say: "Hey junior, get over here with them matches! This cross ain't gonna burn itself!" Wendy: I'm sorry Arbie, but how could I ever love someone that wants me to eat cock? Denny: You know they always say you can tell the size of a cock by standing down from its beak all the way to its tailfeathers. Chicken Zombie: I know it's fattening, but I love the skin. Arbie: Say, where did you get this gun? Mature Arbie: I've got a whole stash of them here. I keep them hidden here with the childrens' promotional items. I was going to be an alienated employee who kept to himself and then went on a murderous rampage this afternoon. Carl Jr.: Look at my woodpecker. [Directing everyone to look at his penis at the end of the mop handle that is shoved through his rectum] Humus: [Looks at the blood covered walls] That reminds me. I need a tampon. Crazy Ron: You fools! This restaurant was built on anicent Tromahawk tribe sacred burial ground! Get out of here while you still can! Get out! Save yourselves! Save yourselves! [changing his tone] Crazy Ron: And... Uh, I'll have one Sloppy Jose value meal. Arbie: [after seeing his exact same tattoo on Old Arbie and ominous lightning goes off] That's strange. Nobody said anything about thunderstorms in windowless basements.

- All of the lead characters are named after famous Fast Food Restaurants. Arbie (Arby's), Wendy (Wendy's), Micki (McDonalds), Denny (Denny's), Carl Jr. (Carl Jr.) and Paco Bell (Taco Bell).

- The title was originally "Good Night and Good Cluck", but 'Lloyd Kaufman' (qv) changed the title to avoid confusion with 'George Clooney' (qv)'s _Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005)_ (qv) which was released first.

- The restaurant scenes were filmed inside an empty McDonalds (you can see the old McDonald's registers and the doors in the restaurant) and everything else was filmed inside an old church that also served as the team's living quarters.

- 'Trey Parker (I)' (qv) and 'Matt Stone (I)' (qv) were set to have a cameo as Arbie's parents, but the scene was scrapped during shooting so the audience never sees the parents. While the movie was still in production, Parker and Stone were often credited for being in the film.

- During the singing of "Slow Fast Food Love" in Wendy's dorm room, on several occasions a "Tromeo and Juliet" poster is visible, another film directed by Lloyd Kaufman.
